Midsummer Eve

Gotta love some finnish holidays, midsummer eve gives national day-off for everyone and looks that even tho saturday seems to be rainy, today we get to enjoy warm day and evening. I'm not doing anything too interesting today, one of the biggest reasons is that I just need painkillers and peace because my mouth really hurts and bugs me. So instead of getting stressed, I started my morning with painkillers and went to have coffee to the beach with my friend. Cold Starbucks Frappuccinos, sun, beach, sea and nice company.. perfect start for a morning. 

Sure it would be nice to go out some more, but I highly doub I would find someone who is not getting drunk or is calm enough so that my already stressed brain won't have total flip out. Continuos pain that my mouth gives me now is really such a bother that it's easy to lose nerves with something uncomfortable, and my temper is known for being short and fiery.  So I'm taking things easy, we shall see if I end up going out after all, or just enjoy some treats and good movies at home. 

I found one cool option for a new camera, Fujifilm FinePix XP30, waterproof, shockproof, freezeproof, dustproof.. pretty much anything you could wish for. I'm kinda skeptic tho, it sounds too good to be true because the price isn't too bad either (179,90€).

Nice, clean, modern looking design with good features and working platform, this might be good company for my vacation..

Wrong kind of toothfairy

Today has been exhausting.. the reason why I haven't been blogging is very simple, I've been so busy, stressed out and literally out of inspiration to come and dump my life here. But I'm still keeping my blog alive, now that thing are starting to turn better.. or so I thought.

I had to go see my dentist today because I wanted to take care of one teeth problem I've had for a while now. Instead of doing simple fix, she went and decided to rip the whole damn tooth off! Conversation went pretty much like this:
Me: Can you do something about it because it's really starting to bug me?
Mean lady: Yep, I'm gonna remove it.
Me: WHAT?!
Mean lady: Yes, here's some local anesthesia.
Me: son of a b....

And this is the part when I fainted, lights out and woke up without one of my wild cat teeth. Just kidding, after three anesthesias I couldn't really feel anything except someone raping my mouth while trying to rip it off.. 

For the sake of young or sensible people we're gonna move to the next topic before blog turns to be about sex, drugs and violence. And actually my dentist lady was very nice, when you don't include the thought that she's the reason why my mouth hurts like ... and I can't even take the third set of painkillers yet.

There's also some good news today, I finally got to do my bookings.. where? Check the previous post ;) And if you're too lazy to do that, just have a look at these pics that are going to warm me up and keep me excited until the d-day. 

Oh yes.

And for this I also did something I haven't done in a loooong time.. something kinda girly but also very useful. I bought a new bag. I have one that I love, which is designer bag from the days where labels ruled my wardrobe, but it's really not the kind of bag you take out for a vacation or something like that. So I'm very happy that I took a girly moment and actually used it well, this is my new best friend that will hold my life inside it, when I'm somewhere far away ;)

Sorry for the girly moment.. I'm not really enjoying myself right now because my mouth hurts pretty bad, and I'm only waiting to get another doze of painkillers, so I think I'm just gonna watch Beauty & The Geek season 3, and hopefully forget about the pain.

She's busy

Why exactly? Because I've been arranging things, and believe me, when everything is in order, this blog will be boosted to a whole new dimension! I'm just way too excited about it, and mostly just taking care of details so that everything goes nice and easy. Once thing I can reveal, is that it will definitely be interesting adventure. What is it? I'm not gonna tell, but it has something to do with these images ;)

Where there's a will.. there's also a price

Lately I've been thinking that some point this year, I really should get a new digital compact camera. Looks that I'll be starting a long time project which requires using camera almost everyday, or at least many times a week. I suddenly came across a problem that my current camera, just can't do it! Here's why: Autofocus, what's that? This camera focuses only once and gets stuck to it, so whenever it would need a re-focus, it's all blurry. It's also over 2 years old, and only 8.0 megapixels. Sure that could go as a basic starter for this project, but... no. I need new camera at some point anyway and now that this project is coming up.. cost and worth are very different things.

Right now I have Canon IXUS 80 IS (8.0) megapixels and this is the camera I've been checking out:

Main reasons to get this specific camera, is that it's small, updated version of my current cam and over all, Full-HD video. Better picture quality is always welcome, but that should be rather obvious. Small, simple and answers to my needs. Now the biggest question would be, which color? Black or red? Black is always black, but I have to admit, I'm kinda in love with the red one. Should I?

Prices for these cams are between 185€ - 240€, so it's not the cheapest one but also affordable, especially for everyday use. Seems like a good way to go. With Canon, you can.

Blogging mobile!

Yez, I'm blogging with my iPhone, next level of unsocial braindumping nerdism. This is first try, let see if and how it works. I was actually writing another blog with my laptop but my roommate decided to interrupt me by announcing that it's time for sleepz, and that I should get sleepz too. So I shall be publishing the real post tomorrow (today) morning.

You know what time it is? Time for Need For Speed! 

I've been playing way too much NFS today, but I seriously don't care. You know those days when you feel that you just suck, that no matter what and how good gamer you are, nothing just goes your way? This was not one of those days, today I rock the damn NFS online. I don't know what it is, there's usually two types of days, either I kick ass and feel invincible, or it almost seems that the damn game knocks me out all by itself, that no matter what I do, I just don't feel the game at all. I wonder what is it, is it like a "I suck" -mode that just turn on by itself? Like, you wake up on the right side of the bed and that determines if you kick ass or not? Human mind.. so hard to understand.

Ahh, such a gamer nerd that I am. Shame on me.

To make it even worse, instead of working out I decided to work out tomorrow and order a pizza. Chiken with pineapple and fetacheese = love. So it's like I said, workout for tomorrow and that actually sets on my official workout season, hopefully that actually shows at some point, even tho I'm far away from fat (which is rather surprising with my love for food and gaming) there's always something that could be a bit better, right? ;) btw only girls should reply "yes", if guy says to a female "honey, you start to get fat, you should start working out", he might just as well say "I'm an idiot and I wanna die." Because that's what probably happens if you say stuff like that to girlfriend or even female friend. But hopefully I get something done, since my teeny tiny depression I had, kinda ruined my physical shape, and it's damn summer that's almost here, gotta look decent enough to wear bikinis.

And no, I actually didn't plan to be gaming all summer. I actually do go outside.

I just had good news, hopefully I will have a new job in the end of this summer.. you know what that means? More money and I can actually afford to keep being insane gamer chick! Or actually save up some money. Which is awesome after my current life situation drained my savings account. 

Looks like this might be a decent week, even forecast promises that sun is about to show a lot more than it has lately, and it's not a bad weather right now either.  Let's hope this keeps up.

Epic blogger - still here

I should be ashamed, I've been so busy with my life that I haven't gotten anything out of myself for this blog. Things have been kinda standing still, even tho a lot more has happened past few weeks, than within last six months. It's all very confusing but only way to move on while not having any idea where you're gonna end up, is to go with the flow. Now I can only wait and see where life takes me, but I guess I do have some idea that I would prefer. ;) Last weekend was awesome, hopefully this keeps going like this, because like the old saying goes "the best is yet to come" and I sure hope it's true in this case too.

Enough about me and my identity/life crisis, because there is something more epic going on..

PORTAL 2. Oh yes. It's supposed to be the most epic game this year and so far I've heard that it's awesome. We shall see. The price of 60-70€ is the only reason why I still haven't gone and get it, gaming is way too expensive these days. I know many awesome people who love the game, so I guess I don't have any other choice but to go and get one, sooner or later.

Another game that I should go and get, is Kingdom Hearts. I actually have never even tried it but I heard that it's awesome and many cool people have been telling me how pathetic gamer I am, that I haven't played it, so I guess that leaves me only one option. Tho since I pretty much hate playing games like that with my DS, I might actually have to regret for selling my PS2 because now it seems, I need to get one - again. Not for just Kingdom Hearts, but also I still have my NFS Most Wanted which doesn't work on PS3, and damn that game is awesome. I was kinda hoping for re-release of that for PS3 but noo.. oh well, I will always have my love-hate relationship with EA. So hunt for working PS2 slim edition has begun! (btw, there is no way, no matter how cheap it is, that I'm getting old big PS2.) Oh dear, this will be expensive gaming year.

Gaming might not be bad way to spend time when it seems that there will be no summer at all. Trees are getting green again but where is the sun?! Where is warm weather? Sure finnish summer is on it's best in the end of June until the end of August, but still c'mon, global warming, where does that show when you need it? Lately I've been waiting for good weathers for hanging out and most of all, to go out for a ride with motorbike and summer cars. What could possibly be better than taking a nice car, taking the roof off and drive around the city and stop by the sea to enjoy something cool. ♡
And then she looked outside and saw grey, rainy, cold weather and her dreams of warm sunny weather came down to crash and burn.

Another thing I just have to dump here, seriously Playstation, what the **(censored)**?! PSN was offline for sooooo long.. but hey, today we're FINALLY online again and damn it's awesome. I've been hating you for so long, but today I love you again. You're the best. But don't ever dare to do this to me again or I swear, I'll buy a Xbox 360 and throw your sony crapstation to the street. Thanks.
