Not so happy ending, or is it?

Don't you just love technology when it serves you? And then you make one teeny tiny mistake and it just spits you right at your face and you feel like breaking something. Yes, I'm very familiar with that feeling. Especially since my Flashcard just got a heart attack, again.

How to react in this situation?

Step 1: Put the game down and eject your Flashcard.
Step 2: Take your Flashcard to other room and leave it there until you don't feel like ripping it into pieces. Destroy something else instead.
Step 3: RRRAAAAAAGGGEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!! Take a glass of coke, beer or whatever that tastes good or knocks out your nervsystem, even tequila is allowed.
Step 4: Kick yourself for not copying your .sav files to your laptop.
Step 5: Think about Step 4 and go through your folders and spot .sav file from couple weeks back.
Step 6: Get your Flashcard, revive your .sav file and hope for the best.
Step 7: Jump around and scream for happiness because you just got almost all the data back, except the latest updates in your game, which you can easily get done again.
Step 8: Always copy your .sav files after doing bigger projects and especially if you decide to try out something new.
Step 9: Learn your lesson and never spam your blog with such an uninteresting happening that almost gave you a nervous breakdown.
Step 10: Play the game because it feels better than ever when you already lost it once. (Or in my case, probably three times so far).

Yes, I truly got on top of myself with this accident. Maybe after this, I actually remember to make copies of my .sav files. Especially since last time this happened, I supposingly learned my lesson, well at least somehow.

So kids, what did we learn today? Absolutely nothing!

To write about something else, I can proudly announce that I have recovered from shopaholism. I actually managed to order clothes, that I actually need! Oh yes. Year ago I was buying lots and lots of stuff, just because they looked nice and this year, what the hell am I doing with all that stuff? Dress I only weared once and probably it was the first and the last time? Bag that I so much wanted but I never got to use because I have perfectly working and good looking bag already? Shoes that cost me a fortune to get and I've already weared once because there is no events where I could use them and they kill my feet anyway?
So instead of spending my money to shop lots of stuff I "need" but that need is for only one time thing, I actually shop only the things I need everyday (or at least once in a month) and something I actually consider more than 10 seconds.

Turns out, letting your epic nerdy side out, instead of walking and talking like bitch across the street, might actually be good for your finances and health. About an year ago I got totally lost, I guess you could blame 20's identity crisis, but mostly it was just me being stupid enough to got sucked into this whole sparkly, ah so shallow, meaningless lifestyle. So girls, no need to be so slutty or swear into name of labels, you'll do just fine with "more boring" lifestyle, and after couple years you actually realize you have more in your life than any of those girls who spend many years just shopping and not doing anything with their lives.

So I guess today we learned two very important lessons. Be yourself, don't get sucked into bad lifestyle and always remember to make copies of your save files! What a cliché.

Addicting games

Damn, I have been so busy with life changes that I haven't got any time to blog! And whenever I've had time I always seem to find something better to do ;) Like 9,5 hours playing Pokemon Black, and when having a break from that, either working out or playing NFS. Someone might think that's kinda sad, but I like to be a nerdy girl.

But why exactly am I "wasting my life" with these two games? Well, for the starters, they're awesome! 13 years of pokemon and every single Need For Speed that has come out so far, it's easy to get addicted to those.  Pokemon is just epic, happy game. What would be more fun that raising your own little monsters and roll around in Unova region? Especially when some of the new pokemon are really cool, even tho I'm still kinda old school when it comes to pocket monsters.
What about NFS? I'm specially addicted to new Hot Pursuit, I used to swear in the name of Most Wanted, but with new online features there's just so much more to do and experience. Game itself becames very easy after hundreds of hours playing online, since real people give real challenges. Not that the game itself would be too easy, but at least I noticed that after spending way too many hours playing online, even challenges that were hard seemed now so easy. Speedlovers wet dream.
Both of these games are just nice and easy way to take some time off from reality, tho maybe sometimes even too much. ;) I would just love the publish those comments I get when I beat some kid in race and he gets kinda bitter about it. Not everyone remembers that it's just a game, so maybe for someone it's even too much fun.. Maybe they'll learn. Or die as virgins.

Little miss no-life

Damn. This whole cleaning/new closets project has taken way too much time, but now that those closets are finally on their place, next thing to do is put everything back. Which is gonna take years!
Sure I have to admit that me playing way too much doesn't really help. I'm totally addicted to my new game, but also been kicking ass in Need For Speed (today's wins-loses: 12-1, not that I'm bragging;)

Now I'm trying my best to enjoy the weekend, even tho there's more than enough to do, but since next week will be superstressing. So I went to the store (wow I actually went outside!) and got some yummies to complete the whole insane-gamer image. And if I get to dig up my sportsbike, which is surrounded by all the stuff I had in my bedroom, and actually get to work out again.

How twisted is the fact that I used to watch some tv series when I work out, but these days I'm actually playing my DS? :D Something in it feels so wrong! Ah, it's so great to be a nerd.

Yay! My roommate is off to Sweden for three whole days, which means I have apartment all to myself monday-wednesday. Now the biggest challenge is not to stay up those two nights and somehow make it to school when I feel like just playing and meeting some friends, and ofc, enjoying privacy.

But hey, it's getting late and I want to play some hot, new pokemon black! Damn I'm epic.
;) Blog you later stalkers!

Girl gamer glory!

It's not just about the fact that I totally kicked ass yesterday while playing Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit online.. but more about that my game has finally arrived!! I thought to myself, I'm not gonna rip the package open and start playing instantly, because I'm an adult and I'm patient. YEAH RIGHT!
That package got destroyed in seconds but instead of ripping the plastic off, I just held my game for several minutes like it was the most beautiful thing in the world. :D When I finally stopped daydreaming, it was game time, and it was AWESOME! I know what I will be doing all day, too bad I have to finish up my cleaning project, otherwise my cabinets that should be here tomorrow, will never fit in here.

I finally got myself to take a break from playing, and I'm just way too scared to put on that game before I actually have several hours of time, cuz that is seriously addictive!
Not that I'm complaining, but it's really hard not to get too much into that game before weekend when I actually have time for playing. Ah, it's so great to be insane gamer chick.

2 hours later..

This game is EPIC!
I seriously hope that Nintendo would have warned people from the start, that this game series will make you total no-life for several years. But hey, can we blame them? It's a big business, and damn as I hell I would also like to be the one to get all the money out of it. Oh right, I was supposed to finish my cleaning project.. fail.

Epic rage

I've been cleaning up all morning! Seriously!
Ok, that is a lie. About 20 minutes ago I realized that instead of cleaning up, I'm actually just moving the mess to the next spot. I literally try to hide my mess, but there's just too much stuff in here! Almost three years I've been living here and still it looks like I just moved in, only way to tell it's been almost three years, is the massive explosion that happened to living room since my stuff is all over the place. But hopefully, after this week I should have more storage space and new cabinets.. which might mean that this place could actually look like someone actually lives here everyday (if we don't count living room that is unspeakable mess).

Someone might wonder, why did I start a new blog, when I actually do have one already. Reason for that is very simple; I'm seriously bored with my life. And to tell the truth, rather pissed too. So instead of dumping all that crap to some of my friends directly, I'm gonna do it here. Actually this blog was originally somewhere else, but after I became very unactive and started finnish blog in blogger, I started thinking why not move this blog here?

So whoever you are, welcome to my epic life.

One thing I would also like to complain about, is that I pre-ordered (against all my habits) the most awesome game ever, and last thursday I got mail that said "Your order has been delivered to you". I was actually still in bed while reading that mail with my iPhone, so I spranged up and went to check my mail. BIG FAT NOTHING.
So I guessed that next day, that should be the official releasing date, I should have my epic game in hands. But no! It's like telling some kid all year long that he will get a puppy for christmas, so kid behaves really good all year to get that puppy. But when christmas comes "Sorry son, we didn't get the puppy, maybe someday".
... I seriously don't know what my point was. Except that I'm extremely depressed by some mean post office lady holding my game that I want so bad!
So I figured out that game should be here next monday. And it's monday. And I already got my mail. There was a package! And it's razor blades (gotta keep those girly legs smooth). Seriously, what the ***** is wrong with the world?! Who is keeping my game as hostage?! RAAAAAGGGEEEEEE!

So now all I can do, is keep cleaning (or hiding stuff so that it looks like I've been cleaning) and I swear that if my game isn't here tomorrow, I'm gonna make some very pissed off calls.
